| AFCO's
Engineering Specialists are experienced in the design of
collections systems. We can provide alternatives for combined
sewer systems that adhere to Combined Sewer Operations (CSOS)
regulations. We perform sewer system evaluation studies to determine
sources of infiltration and inflow problems in order to develop
a comprehensive sewer system rehabilitation program, which includes
design and construction. |

AFCO's wastewater design includes all aspects of collection,
distribution, treatment and ultimate disposal of the water we
use on a daily basis. The proper management of this natural
resource is fundamental to our survival. For this reason, our
use of water is strickly regulated to insure the public health
and welfare. The Federal Clean Water Act, as well as State and
Local Health Regulations, embody the rules and regulations we
follow in our design of the many wastewater systems our clients
require.

AFCO has the capability to manage entire wastewater treatment
projects from the required preliminary engineering report through
the start-up phase. We prepare the Facilities Plan for expanding
and upgrading collection and/or treatment systems and help determine
the most cost-effective way to increase facilty capacity. |
