MATERIALS The Mortar material is an ultra high strength, high build, corrosions resistant; mortar based on Portland cement and Micro silica. When mixed with the appropriate amount of water, a paste-like material develops that is gravity flowed onto an area 1/4" and larger. The mortar hardens quickly without any need for special curing and develops (80%) of its ultimate flexural strength in 24 hours. CIT PROTECTION The CIT protection agent is a two-component 100% solids epoxy for use with cementitious mortars to produce a corrosion resistant, structural composite. It is white for enhanced visibility and is applied by airless hand spray equipment over the interior surface of manholes, pipe and similar structures without requiring man entry. It cures quickly even when immersed in fresh or salt water. It rapidly forms a tenacious bond to freshly applied mortars formulated to prevent delaminating calcium, hydroxide powers from forming during hydration.
